What does an 8-person meeting room need?
A 75" display, a video bar and wireless sharing. Bar One combines a 4K webcam, microphone array and audio in one device: one USB cable to the laptop and the room is ready, with any platform. If the display is an X Series, audio and microphones are already on board and only the video part is missing.
BYOM room or dedicated room system?
BYOM where Teams, Meet and Zoom coexist: no per-room licence, no vendor lock-in, the user walks in with their own laptop. A dedicated room system only makes sense where the company has standardised on one platform and wants the room always on and bookable.
How do you manage internal comms across several sites?
With signage displays and a dashboard: Bytello DMS groups screens by floor or site, pushes notices and banners in real time, schedules power on and off. It is how twenty screens get updated without sending anyone on site.
Is an interactive display really needed in an office?
It is needed where people work on the content: design reviews, internal training, board meetings with shared annotation. Where content is watched rather than touched — halls, canteens, production dashboards — a signage display costs less and lasts longer.
How long does a room installation take?
A standard BYOM room is delivered in half a day: mount, display, video bar, test with two platforms. Timelines stretch when the power socket or the network is not in the right place — which is why utility positions should be agreed before the site survey.
